Lisa Curtis is a singer-songwriter from Columbus, Ohio. She was first recognized for her songwriting on TikTok and has continued to reach more people with her lyrics. I, myself, found her through TikTok and fell in love with her single "Gasp of Air." Her social and fan followings have consistently grown over the last few years since her first EP was released in October of 2021.
The Project: October 2023, Lisa posted on her Instagram story looking for graphic designers interested in helping her design merchandise for a few of her songs. I offered my services and we started discussing what she was looking for. Her examples led me to offer three styles of art: iconography, stamp illustration and analog collage. She fell in love with the collage art I did for her song "Hand Me Downs" and I went on to create two more collages for two other songs including her most streamed song "Gasp Of Air."
