The Narcissist Cookbook is an alternative/indie musician that falls somewhere between spoken word and folk punk music. I found them in early 2023 through Spotify's Discover Weekly playlist and absolutely fell in love with their songs. After listening to them throughout all of 2023, I decided to create posters for some of their songs.
Objective: For fun, pick one song from two albums and find your favorite line in each. From there, using the color palette of the album cover and a few assets from Freepik, design a typographic poster design showcasing the lyrics of the chosen songs.
Solution: A two part series of visually interesting posters. Below you'll find the two posters plus close ups and mock ups of each! I even adapted them into phone wallpapers after being asked to by fans of the musician once I posted these to my design Instagram.
