Objective: Create a book block. Design the interior and typesetting of Anne of Green Gables. Details should relate to the book in some way.
Solution: A 5.5in x 8.5in children's book. Illustrated cover and detailed interior. Adobe Caslon Pro type family was chosen for typography because that typeface (or a version of it) would have been around and in use at the time the book was written. Anne of Green Gables is required reading for many elementary and middle school students, so type is set on the larger size to accommodate young eyes.
